Policies & Terms
Clarity is part of good hospitality. This page gathers the policies shared by both brands — Mercury Cruise (private river cruises) and Mercury GT (jet ski rental) — with each brand's specific terms clearly labelled below, so you can book with complete peace of mind.

Weather policy (Cruise & GT alike)
We check conditions every morning before your travel date. This policy applies equally to Mercury Cruise voyages and Mercury GT rides.
Ordinary rain does not affect your trip — the Cruise boats are fully covered, and GT rides continue as normal.
Only when our team confirms that a genuine thunderstorm (not light rain) makes sailing unsafe will we contact you before departure and move your trip to a new date free of charge — the weather policy is reschedule-only; no refunds are given.
Cancellation & rescheduling
Free, unlimited rescheduling if you notify us at least 24 hours before departure via LINE — applies to both Cruise and GT.
Cancel with a refund request 48 hours or more before departure: 100% refund.
Cancel within 24–48 hours of departure: 50% refund, with the remaining 50% held as credit toward a future booking (no expiry).
Cancel within 24 hours, or no-show: non-refundable, since the crew, captain/pilot, and fuel have already been committed for you.
Late arrival: please reach the pier/dock at least 15 minutes before departure. Missing a departed slot is treated as a within-24-hour cancellation.
Refunds
Refunds approved under the policy above are returned to the original payment method you used to book.
Typical timing: usually within a few business days, depending on your bank or card provider.

Mercury Cruise — safety, deposit & payment
Mercury Cruise is a private full-boat charter, seating up to 12 guests, with a captain and crew looking after you throughout. The terms below cover this brand's safety and payment specifics.
Safety & insurance
- Standard life jackets for every seat, in all sizes for children and adults.
- Experienced captains and crew who know the Ayutthaya stretch of the Chao Phraya intimately.
- Every boat inspected before each departure.
- Passenger insurance covering the full journey.
Deposit & payment
- Reserve your date with a 50% deposit; the remaining balance is due before departure — the system reminds you automatically via LINE and email.
- If you cancel under the terms in "Cancellation & rescheduling" above, your deposit is refunded at the same rate.
Mercury GT — rider eligibility, damage & payment
Mercury GT is access to impeccably prepared performance watercraft — freedom on the water, safely. Each jet ski seats up to 2 (rider plus one passenger). The terms below are here to look after both you and the craft.
Rider eligibility, safety & waiver
- Riders must be 18 or older and must be the registered renter.
- A signed waiver is required before boarding, completed via a link sent by email or LINE after booking. It takes only a few minutes on a mobile device.
- A pre-departure safety briefing is mandatory — our team walks you through the craft and the route before you head out.
- Wear a life jacket and the engine safety lanyard at all times while riding.
- On-water supervision accompanies your ride, ready to assist whenever you need it.
- Never ride under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Damage & liability
- No security deposit and no damage bond. Pay the rental in full at booking and collect your jet ski straight away.
- Every damage rate is published in advance on our transparency page, alongside the market repair range so you can compare — nothing is charged that was not published first.
- Total damage per incident is capped at ฿35,000, except in cases of intentional damage, riding under the influence, or leaving the permitted zone after being warned.
- Every case is assessed from the photographs taken before departure and after return, which the renter has seen and confirmed — without confirming photographs we make no charge.
- Normal wear and tear, and any mark already visible in the pre-ride photographs, carry no charge.
- The renter is responsible for damage caused by misuse or breaking the rules, fines or damages arising from breaking the law, and loss of equipment provided with the jet ski.
Payment
- Pay the rental in full online at booking — nothing extra to pay on arrival.
Payment methods
Pay online securely through Xendit, a trusted payments provider — used across both Mercury Cruise and Mercury GT.
PromptPay and credit/debit card are supported.
Your booking is confirmed automatically once payment is complete, and your meeting-point details are sent to you at once.
